Gearstones above Ingleton - A large limited edition signed print by John Sibson.
The little settlement of Gearstones was once an important 18th century droving route running from the north down into Ribblesdale. Drovers either went on to Horton-in-Ribblesdale and then Settle from where their stock could go to markets at Clitheroe, Blackburn and Preston, or they could travel down to Ingleton and on to Lancaster. This image perfectly captured the rugged beauty of this area.
This limited print is one of only 300 produced by famous local watercolour artist John Sibson and is both numbered and personally signed by the artist himself.
This framed print measures 639 x 545mm (25" x 21.5") with a 1.75" Antique Cushion Silver Moulding, plain glass, 2.25" Off White Mount with Hardboard Backing with Picture hanging cord - Currently only available in-store, but if you'd like to discuss shipping costs with us, please click here.
